Beh, una ottantina di spares in una flotta di circa 220 macchine mi pare giustificata. Insomma, dovranno stare in servizio per almeno 20 anni.

Beh.. il punto è che l’Eurofighter dovrebbe consentire un’elevata disponibilità (superiore all’80% di progetto) per quanto riguarda le macchine in linea.
Se i piani sono quelli di avere 7 gruppi da 12 aerei ciascuno, direi che basterebbe disporre di 20-25 macchine di volano logistico e una 15ina di macchine per la riserva d’attrito sia sufficiente.
80 aerei in riserva mi paiono invece troppe.. soprattutto se non verranno portate allo standard finale.
BTW, da quanto leggo e da mie stime, l’AM con 4 gruppi da 15 (60 aerei, esclusa l’OCU) dovrebbe disporre di 30-35 macchine come riserva logistica e d’attrito per un totale di circa 105-110 macchine (OCU compresa).
